The path from boy to man

I was captivated by the book and how the young child was prepared all through his life to be the man he is at his college graduation. He was provided all of the necessary skills to become a very dangerous person and he paid the price for it in failed romantic relationships. Some sexual play descriptions I foung to be boring and skipped over many of them. Sometimes I believe that a certain amount of sex is needed so that the book and author will receive higher marks. That being said, I was not one of the followers that requires sex in all of its gory details to be part of the book. All told, it is a good read and I really enjoyed reading it. Now about a negative I found, Many times I was stopped in the middle of a sentence because the word I'm reading does not match the rest of the sentence. One time the word on the page was "now" and after I thought about the sentence it should have been "own" as in "own thought". That is something that an author told me occurs when he did some "rewriting" and did not have an editor check his work. MS Word is good about putting words in the do not make sense but are closely spelled to the correct word. This author needs an editor to read the areas that are last touched to make sure that the author puts the correct word into the sentence, not MS Word.
